If you see a red light and the unit is beeping this means that the charger has power but the batteries are not charging. The batteries are charging whenever the carriage is parked anywhere on the rail. Check to see if the outlet is a switched outlet or if the breaker has tripped. Continuous beep unit is not charging either not fully on the charging station or the charger has come unplugged is there a flashing alpha numeric code displayed on your bruno elite or curve stairlift unit.

Please note that the codes will change and flash as the lift is self checking and displaying status codes during normal operations. Also stairlifts are operated and controlled by circuits that should always be protected by a surge protector. Confirm that the battery charger is plugged into a live outlet and wait for the batteries to charge. Failure to keep the batteries charged or allowing them to fully discharge will significantl y shorten the life of the batteries.
