Fit the miter on one end then mark the opposite end for cutting.
The right place can be between two attic rafters.
After that mark on the vertical boards the distance you ve planned out between the shelves.
Now you have the front support.
Start choosing the best place for your shelves.
Cut 1x1 pieces to fit across two for each shelf on the unit and screw them into place using the marks you made.
Storage space in attics is usually limited to the small floored area.
I first screwed the back support boards for each shelf into the studs.
